Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal.

The manuscript review process is as follows:

1.Initial Review: After submission, the manuscript first undergoes an initial review by the journal’s editors. The focus of this stage is to determine whether the topic, writing quality, and content meet the journal’s basic requirements.

2.Peer Review: Manuscripts that pass the initial review will be sent to 2–3 independent experts in the relevant field for evaluation. The review follows a double-blind process, where the identities of both the authors and the reviewers are kept confidential. The editorial team ensures that reviewers are from institutions different from those of the authors.

3.Revision: After the peer review is completed, authors are required to revise their manuscripts based on the experts’ comments and provide a point-by-point response to each suggestion. The revised manuscript will then be submitted for another round of review. This process may be repeated until the reviewers and editors are satisfied with the manuscript or until the manuscript is rejected.

4.Final Review: Manuscripts that pass the peer review stage will undergo a final review by the journal’s editorial board.

The above review process applies to all submissions to the journal, including those submitted to special issues. Manuscripts for special issues undergo the same review process as regular submissions, and the final decision on acceptance is made by the journal’s editorial board.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

Our journal charges 300 yuan per page, and each article must be at least 8 pages long. The current APC, subject to VAT or local taxes where applicable, is: 326 HKD/41.7 USD. Papers deemed as “very excellent” by peer review will be exempt from all charges.
